Special for Ben

This one looked so much better on the camera preview...

Rainy day, boring day =) .....
That vintage car is right in front of where I'm at. It's very cool.
The pics are my attempt of using this venus transit to the extreme. I know my fans will apreciate it. (hahhaha)

Random pics II

The neighbourhood......
Swans...... and a crow. I fed some old bread to a crow today.. and he picked it it his beak and took it to the water, got it wet, and then ate it. I can't blame him, the bread was really old and hard. Even the aligator had a hard time with it. :) Crows are smart. He did it 3 times. Then flew away.

This is where I pass in the way to the park:

This iamge I took from google, because I wasn't able to get a picture of a lizzard doing this, but lizzards here are like this, and they do this sometimes. I think it's a calling for females.

I just returned from West Palm Beach. It's raining like crazy today, for hours. But still, it is gorgeous. The houses are freakin crazy rich :) No pictures though. I was driving and besides it was raining alot.
The houses I posted a few days ago pale in comparison. Many of the ones I saw today import pieces of castles and stuff from europe to build here. It's just beyond.

Elements

Fire : I am what I do
Water : I am what I feel
Air: I am what I think
Earth: I am what I have.

Right? As a water element I tend to beleive I am what I feel. is there another way to look at it?
I wonder if other elements feel the same way.

Alley

This is my friend Alley........ Alley Gator. She lives in a lake closeby. We had a snack together a couple of hours ago.

We're close. She enjoyed the old bread I took. :)

It was very cool. I think it's a female. She's gentle. I have to admit images of Crocodile dundee come through my mind as i approached the water. Alley saw me and came to greet me, curious about the bread and nuts I was throwing at the water. She ate and stared at me, into my soul, we connected. Hopefully we'll meet again soon.

Pompano beach

Pelicans....and fish. there were loads of fish, colorful ones, big ones. needle fish too.
Notice the sign "manatee zone" :D I love manatees, I wish I'd see one.

Baggle with cream cheese! From dunkin donuts. First time I ever ate there. The baggle has alot of cinnamon and some raisins, it was amazing. I also had something called bow tie.. don't get me started on that.

I went to Pompano Beach again, and was able to park the car and walk around.. there were loads of fish near the fishermen, i stared at them for a while. They are colourful.. Couldn't get a visible photo of them. The house photos are along a road called A1a, that goes between the ocean and a cannal, it has amazing homes on both sides of the road.

I fed birds today, with cookies... a crow and pidgeons and seaguls! the seaguls actually caught the cookie on the air a couple of times! I was sitting on a bench and they would fly above my head. like a meter away or so. It was really cool. It was windy so they just floated in the wind. it was fun. loads of birds came.

I belong

About the identity crisis I mentioned below, it's interesting to add that, I had never had a proper ID card in my life.. I use a "permanent residency authorization" and have to deal with some crap once in a while due to not being portuguese. Yeah, I could have both nationalities and whatever, I'll do that very soon. But the point is, I never did.
And now I have real documents, my own social security number... I feel more whole, more integrated in society. It's kind of unexpected to be in a strange and exotic country and tell them my name, and have them search their computers and say "yes, you sure did have a social security number, that makes it alot easier, for you... and for me!... you will get the card in 10 days, meanwhile use this paper. Have a great day"
Get it?
